How to go to Heaven:

   You must repent.  

 

   “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.” (Acts 3:19 KJV)  You must confess that you are a sinner before a holy God and that you cannot reach heaven by your good works.  To repent is to have a change of mind about your sin.

 

 

   You must believe.  

 

   “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9 KJV)  You must believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for your sins, and that He arose from the dead three days later and is in Heaven today ready to save you.

 

 

   You must receive.  

 

   “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” (John 1:12 KJV)  Just as you would receive a friend into your home by opening the door, so you must receive the Lord Jesus into your life as your Saviour.
